The Story

Fisher & Paykel Forma Full Face Mask Cushion Seal

The Fisher & Paykel Forma full face CPAP mask cushion will fit below your chin to ensure your seal is a perfect one while treating your sleep apnea. The cushion is made of Flexi-Foam and a silicone seal so that you get the best of both worlds, fit and comfort. The Flexi-Foam enhances comfort while the silicone seal ensures a proper seal. Due to the oils your face releases, cleaning your mask and the constant wear and tear your Forma cushions go through, we recommend replacing the cushion and silicone seal every 1-3 months. We offer a variety of cleaning products to make this process even easier such as cleaning wipes and sanitizers.

If the cushions are not replaced on time, patients tend to over tighten the headgear to maintain an effective seal which ultimately causes pain to your face or has a negative effect on your sleep quality. The Forma cushions are meant to appear full in nature and not squished to your face. If the mask cushion is flat on your face, it is more than likely time to replace both your headgear as well as your cushion and silicone seal. If proper replacement of supplies does not happen, you could see a negative change in your sleep quality.
