This Philips Respironics headgear is a replacement for the ComfortGel full face CPAP mask. If users start to develop a high amount of mask leaks or loss of seal the headgear and/or cushion may need replaced. How do I reduce the leaks in my CPAP mask? Tightening the headgear may seem like a solution, but this will only be a temporary fix; the headgear will become less comfortable when it's too tight. Your CPAP headgear needs replaced as soon as you notice any slack as it will limit the seal of your cushion and reduce the effect of your CPAP mask. In order to receive the full benefits of sleep therapy, a CPAP supply needs replacement on a regular basis.
